Thank you, my friend CW5 Jack Cardwell for sharing the music video of legendary guitarist Chet Atkins performing Franz Lehár "Vilja"on the Ozark Jubilee TV show probably in 1958.
"This is Chet's arrangement of "Vilja" or "Vilja Song," taken from the Austro--Hungarian operetta, "The Merry Widow." Simply beautiful."
"This program was originally called "Ozark Jubilee" but, changed its name to "Country Music Jubilee" for the 1957-58 season and, again, to "Jubilee USA" for the remainder of its run."
