I'm doing the Tough Ruck in MA in April. Should be a long 26.2 mile day!

That is awesome!! We did 22 miles, 22lbs last year. This year it is down to 20. 20 lives lost is still too many. We have been able to reach out and expose that this is an issue. Hopefully, our veteran network can continue to expand and veterans can reach out to each other for strength in times of need. Best of luck to you at the ruck!! You got this!

Just don't forget to emphasize drinking even binge drinking can lead to Suicide. My sister who had a form of PTSD from her abortions decades ago hunger self at age 49 when her third husband filed for divorce she hung herself on the 4th of July of 2015 so that is sad go to Alcoholics Anonymous Narcotics Anonymous talk to a friend don't keep it to yourself and if you're going to the bar and grill and having alcohol every single day and you only call your siblings when you're drunk that means you have a problem. Sobriety peace from within sobriety prayer the Army last week made me watch a mandatory drink training on responsible drinking. There is no such thing! Responsible drinking is irresponsible. Taking drugs fentanyl opiates antidepressants mix them with alcohol or taking it illegally unprescribed drugs is wrong to and that can lead to Suicide as well. Saw her preaching to the choir but the Army and many of these Civic groups don't emphasize sobriety

I am sorry to hear about your sister. Thank you for your input, sir. I disagree. I know that responsible drinking exists. I'll have one or two drinks sometimes, but I know when to stop. I also have the self-control to say no. But you are right, we don't preach sobriety in briefings. Maybe that is something we can add or change in the near future.
