"Fears"? Maybe "expects", but not "fears". Actually, I'm expecting the US and China to collude on this one.

There is no telling how China would respond if something happens between the US/South Korea and North Korea. But here are some options:
1. Sits by and does nothing (not likely)
2. China sends in troops to remove Kim (possible)
3. China sends in troops to support Kim (possible)

4. DPRK attacks China too. Now that they have rejected coal shipments, and stopped oil and flights between Beijing and Pyongyang, the NorKs may decide China is against them as well.

SCPO (Join to see) - Option 4 DPRK attacking China I would have to say is not likely. More like a 1% chance of it happening. Kim knows it would be the end if he attacked China. He knows that China is the hand that feeds his military, people, etc.

China may just standby and gather intel. Not sure why they would be fearful, unless they join in with the NORKs.

They are on our side only if it benefits them or weakens us.

MCPO Roger Collins Yep, we can count on China to do only whatever benefits them.
