Chamberlain had a choice calm the situation down until they could build a itar5y to defend Britain, or go to war totally outclassed with biplanes against Me-109s and much of the navy out of service, It is not as simple are it seams. If Chamberlain had gone to war at that time Hitler would have won easily.
