We can build walls 50 feet high around our entire border. We can enlarge the DEA. We can build more prisons. We can execute the dealers. We can "Just say no."
None of that will stop the drugs. There is far too much money to be made in the illegal drug business to stop it.
We must address the reasons behind the use, not the suppliers. If we don't lower the requirement, we won't end the production and distribution.

According to the DEA 2017 Report on Drug Trafficking, most of the Fentanyl enters the US through the US Mexican border, through legal ports of entry.
Yes, a border wall. The ability to reduce manpower intensive efforts elsewhere, will put more enforcement personnel in the legal points of entry, and increase the detection and seizure of Fentanyl.
So just exactly what will the DNC accept as a crisis rising to the level of National Emergency on our border, because so far 1000+ dead Americans a week dead from opiods shipped through the southern border don't count. That's about one Marine Expeditionary unit wiped out to the last Marine and Sailor every two weeks.

Enough Fentanyl comes across the border to wipe out our entire population of the US and the democrats procrastinate.
In 2017 more than 70,000 Americans died from a drug overdose (according to the NIDA). For Opioids alone it was over 40,000. This is not a crisis according to the democrats and the person creating this post.
We all know that significant portions of drugs entering our country come across the southern border. Our border patrols is dealing with tens of thousands of people crossing illegally because there are no ways to stop them (such as wall)
