China’s oil painters focus on domestic battles as US tariffs loom

Brings back memories... i watched a street artist in Wan Chai turn out an exhibit quality oil still-life in about 10 minutes.

Had another turn out a chalk & charcoal 8x10 portrait of my then-wife using a wallet-sized photo as a model in about the same amount of time. Still have the 8x10 & wallet-sized... not the wife.
