Why does Reuters (and the Early Bird) give credence to communist China's opinion? Why not include the US position that sailing in international waters under Freedom of Navigation is a normal activity for Navies of the world?

China feeds the media more bribe than the U.S. is a plausible argument. Buying media slots to pitch the Chinese propaganda is Beijing's most effective weapon.
