I don't think that the leaders of China fully grasp the situation. We have a president who realizes the negotiating power of being the buyer of much of what China produces. We could replace them as a supplier, but they can't replace us as a customer. We could tank their economy and Trump knows it.

The simple fact is that China is in a SHITTY position, nearly powerless, against a leader who is going to apply business principles to the relationship, rather than political ones. They are going to get lumps of coal this Christmas, and they know it.

They do hold a lot of our debt, but they are already dumping it to shore up their own currency. If they were to force us to default, it would tank their economy at the same time, and they dont want that.

I think in his own way he is letting all parties involved that there is a new Sheriff in town and there WILL be new (Better for America) deals worked out on many issues.......
