Charles Higham - "Trading With The Enemy." Close to half of the USAAC airplanes shot down over Europe were shot down by German planes with American gas in their tanks. That's what - 15000 dead Americans? AND WE'RE OKAY WITH THAT?! Must be. Read the book. No conspiracy. All documents photographed and copied. Why? Cuz there are no laws that were broken. Kind of like FDR getting a fourth term. No law against it, right? It was a gentleman's agreement that you stopped after two terms. Same with trading with the enemy. It was assumed that big business would get patriotic and stop.
