those evangelicals can't stand to see or hear anything bad about trump. no matter how immoral he is, they will continue to support him. WHY????

I think that those who believe in Jesus would never promote a POTUS who is so callous and cruel. He is clearly inhumane.

Being a devout Christian, and a loyal American can be challenging. From our history of a so-called "Manifest Destiny", under which millions of human beings suffered...to the present-day public rejection of Biblical morality; the one constant that I can turn to as an anchor for my personal patriotism has been the freedoms contained within our Constitution. The same laws that permit people to spit on the name, image, and teaching of my Savior... also protect my right to continue to try and follow Him. The very rights that are so often used to spread dissolution, depravity, and deception also serve as some of the last bulwarks of true compassion, charity, and constancy. Yes, we can have a "church of satan" here... but so too can we still freely live and serve against everything that belongs to that great deceiver; the devil. Neither party fully embodies these principles; what token support the Republicans give to "family values"...they seem to betray in their devotion to profit. What rhetorical exercises the Democrats make in furthering the cause of the oppressed and poor...they seem to abandon when it comes to ensuring the true prosperity and security of the same. Christianity has no "nation", no "party", and no human "head of state"...it belongs to a Kingdom of Heaven, ruled forever by the King of Kings. However, we are also instructed to live in this world, while being separate from it. God's will made me a citizen of the United States. I later chose to serve that nation, and its principles, in full understanding of what that entailed. I supported Donald Trump, not because his message is "Christian", but because it is, in my opinion, Constitutional. Our First Amendment states clearly that while the Government may not mandate belief...neither can it impose laws that restrict it. My understanding of the Word of God does not permit me to glory in violence...but the Second Amendment enshrines the right for me to, if so called, protect myself and others from wanton violence. Those Christians who cannot support the President are still my brothers and sisters in Christ...I simply think they are looking for something that doesn't exist.
