On the other hand, I have been amazed at the number of college students who do not know Iran kept 52 American Embassy workers for 444 days. They were only released on Ronald Reagan's inauguration day.

We drove to DC from Quantico to see the Iranians staging a sit-in at State Dept. at one point while the Iranians were holding the Americans captive. Really wanted to choke some of them out but cameras and reporters were everywhere. We had to jerk one of our group out from in front of reporters. The dumbass was about to go on TV and that would not have been smart at all. Live at 5, US Marine speaks out...yes and the next day he's in a sedan headed for HQMC for encore appearance on Commandant USMC's carpet. He was drunk, but still no excuse.
