CIA knew it had the wrong man, but kept him anyway

Here is another reason why the No Fly/Terrorist List is so wrong. A BS list made by incompetents, no matter their agency.
No wonder those incompetent, entitled individuals in congress want to use it as a tool for gun control and to try and consolidate their hold on governmental power.
At least the article says something good about the military as opposed to civilians in governmental agencies - The report notes at one point that the CIA considered transferring al-Masri to the U.S. military as a “force protection threat” but decided against it because without confirmation that he was an al-Qaida member, the U.S. military was likely to release him “within hours.”
I'd bet dollars to donuts that al-Masri is on both the Terrorist Watch List and the No Fly List.
How many other people are on these list un-justly and have absolutely no recourse?
How many other falsehoods do our politicians expect us to believe?
