PO3 Steven Sherrill there was a captain at the police dept I used to work for. He hoarded all knowledge in the dept about IT - wouldn't share it unless it was something begrudgingly because he was going to be gone for a length of time.
He finally got promoted to Major because the old chief was pushing 80 yrs old & was forced to retire, so everyone moved up a slot (yes, small dept & that's how promotions worked there). This guy was the king of shammers. He never worked the street, just immediately slid into his office job & stayed there.
