I've been hearing a lot about this, The daughter against the boxer. The boxer Manny, is very popular around the world, but the ruling party's family is very popular around the Philippines. She is expected to win from what I hear around the south part of the Philippines where he is from, but I'm silently hoping for the underdog, Manny.

By far, BongBong and Sara have the lead, and are the odds-on favorites to win. Daddy Duterte is a lame duck and has lost much influence when he f&cked up... Sara could have been the presidential candidate...but is now relegated to VP behind the playboy Marcos son.
Here, it's all about who has the greatest name recognition, and who hands out the most pisos or phone cards. You'd think Manny has a chance, but I don't think that is going to happen. Leni is the favorite of the middle class, but has little name recognition among the poor, who are the majority. Isko, no one outside of Manila has heard of him.
Another dictator/dictators scion will be president.
