Exciting things are happening! The snow is still on the ground here in Maryland, but the roads are thankfully clear. Our excursion to Richmond last week was somewhat curtailed by Winter Storm Jonas, but we still managed to look a few apartments. We just got word today that our application has been accepted and come mid-April we will be Richmond, Va's newest residents! Hooray! We are so blessed!
Fundraising is going very well. We surpassed last week's goal by $33 and now have raised $5033. Double Hooray! Thanks for all the love ya'll! I'm currently looking at a potential clinic space in Richmond which is $400 a month for 500 square feet. A space like this could really suit our needs. If we raise another $200 this week that could potentially pay for a year's worth of clinic rent plus enough left over for small deposit! Thank you so much again everyone, we are doubly blessed by all your good intentions!
In other news, the National Certification body has awarded me the Diplomat of Acupuncture (NCCAOM), so all the pieces are in place, and I now am just 30 or so days of red tape away from receiving my license to practice acupuncture from the Virginia Board of Medicine!!! Triple Hooray. In concert with this my application for the Acupuncture Society of Virginia has also been accepted. So much to be thankful for. Thank you all again, so very much. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!
