McGown "Gunny" that Summit County, Ohio and First Energy Foundation each donated $10,000.00 to support Stand Up for Stand Down by Elizabeth Walters for Homeless and Displaced Veterans of Summit County. Hopefully the homeless will be housed before winter sets in.

For three years, I have volunteered at the Phoenix StandDown. They give out ruck sacs, boots and tennis shoes, jeans, underwear, hygiene supplies, etc; have housing service providers, municipal court, DMV and more services available. Volunteering and donating to these events helps a lot of Veterans. Affordable housing is greatly needed, so that is where my funds go. I encourage civilians and Veterans to volunteer and donate.
