Allowed to retire..typical..should be reduced and all pay and allowances forfeited..no accountability for senior members..disappointing..

He was wrong, but if the charges were proven true, the CG was wrong for allowing him to retire. Not exactly a good message to send to subordinates who already believe there are two versions of the UCMJ

As much as I hate it, there has been a double standard for O1-O5 vs O6 and above. I will not go into detail but I know of some O4's who were convicted of a felony, adult. I know of an O6 who was asked to retire immediately for the same thing, adultery. I would have hoped this double standard would have been put to rest, but obviously not.
