It's always good to see someone who is already successful go one step further and enlist. It's equally as good to see a SM be all they can be and make it to the professional level in any sport. I hope we see more of this.

I know Glen Coffee is still active, and a PFC (which seems odd, since he's been in almost 3 years and has a college degree).

I remember in late summer/early fall of '97, when I was attending my A school at Great Lakes - we had a former Indianapolis Colts lineman in our formation...I never caught his name, as he was in another class - I just remember him being a huge man.

Either way, it's cool to see modern day professional athletes stepping up to the plate and volunteering for the service.
