That is the oroblem with this kind of thing. Who gets to define what is hate speech? How about if the intended listener is fine with it because they are 2 friends joking and someone listening in gets offended? Is it still hate speech?

MSgt (Join to see) - Great point. Some 30 years ago I used to have discussions with a family member that worked with college students on a small midwestern campus. He would tell me that the underlying theme regarding views on morality, ethics, etc was that everything was "relative"....i.e just because you view something as XYZ does not make it so....Jean and Joan over here see it differently.
Furthermore, I could argue about "absolutes" but they don't exist either on some college campuses. :) A classic catch 22 situation IMO.

I suggest they install cameras like Westfield State. Diverse people must not like cameras around when they are fabricating their hate crimes.
