This is actually one of several supposedly "repulsive" counter sexual assault techniques that our police rape crisis teams taught throughout the KC metro back in the late 1970s. The article makes this sound as if this is their original idea. Not so.

CPT Jack Durish Rape is a crime of violence and domination. It isn't as much about the sex act as it is about the act of forcing someone to submit to your domination of them in the most personal way possible. Castration wont work, masturbation wont work, it is about being dominant.
