Well you got a point it's just supposed to build trigger discipline and target descrinlmination really it's not all that practical in terms of training you for real world.

PFC (Join to see) - Target discrimination, is one of the objectives of these targets? How? Aiming point discrimination, maybe; but the problem with that like you said is real world. Real world - shapeless mass with a head on top. Think of this - overlay the fancy target pattern with the regular target pattern and what do you have?
