IF they are in fact posers and are collecting money they are committing criminal fraud and should be arrested.
Additionally: The Department of Defense Joint Ethics Regulation, as well as the regulations of each branch of the military services, prohibit fund raising activities while in uniform or acting in an official capacity.

'Tis the season for these guys in Florida. I was approached at an intersection by one of them in Ft. Myers last spring. Said he was collecting for Disabled Veterans and had a DAV sign. As a life member of the DAV, I asked where he went to meetings, the guy did not know anything about the DAV. turns out he was hired to pass his can at the intersection and given the camo to wear. He was never even in the service. I phoned Lee County which supposedly issues permits to solicit at intersections to these guys. Never got a return call. These guys are all phony scam artists.

Not sure why but I'm laughing at the first few seconds of the video. Friends from a previous life would call the Marine veteran so many names just for listening to Fox News. Why can't Americans be Americans without prejudging them on political or news leanings?

Anyway, incredibly suspicious. The two men in a modified uniform, saying weird stuff like AR 670-1 24(that a chapter or jibberish to seem like they're legit). Even at MCS it says veterans can't wear the (for the army side that I'm aware of) combat uniform of any type as if you're on active or inactive training status. Good on this Marine to stand up.
