Comey through his decision not to accept the CIA's analysis was reiterating the fact that the FBI has strict Federal evidentiary standards that require it to make cases that can stand up in court, Further, multiple secondary sources point to the fact that the CIA conclusion (that was forwarded via an anonymous source without supporting evidence of intent) was a "...judgment based on the fact that Russian entities hacked both Democrats and Republicans and only the Democratic information was leaked...." Any first year law student will tell you that that conclusion would not stand up under even the most liberal rules of evidentiary standards and defies logic. In point of fact other CIA Analysts stated that the anonymous CIA conclusion was predicated upon "...a thin reed upon which to base an analytical judgment ..." Podesta would be better served through a little introspection. The main question being why he, Mook and Palmieri who were so ignorant of technology and cyber security that they consented to conduct a Presidential Campaign using G-mail. Seriously? To assume that Google and G-mail is a secure environment from which to run a campaign free of foreign cyber-attacks is not only laughable it also points to a singular stupidity that defies logic. A newly minted 2LT would never make that mistake. Podesta may not want to admit this; but Clinton lost because out of 3141 counties in the United States she lost 3084 and only won 57. Said another way; there are 53 cities in America whose metro areas exceed 1 million in population. In 2016 Hillary Clinton won 47 of those 53 cities, a result that encompassed 154 million people, or 48 per cent of the population. However, Podesta and his brilliant campaign strategists ignored the 52 per cent of the population that encompasses the rural vote and that rural vote beat her and her urban voters; and it beat them badly. These were the voters that Czarina Clinton arrogantly and divisively referred to as bigots and deplorable human beings. It is also the very same voters that Podesta's brilliant DNC pollsters failed to take into account; though number in the multi-millions. In point of fact Clinton's loss in the 2016 election came down to the plight of Rust Belt voters in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan and Wisconsin. What is also clear is the Podesta and Clinton also willfully ignored these people. Further, Podesta still has to account for the fact that his 30 something geniuses who ran a 1.2 Billion Dollar campaign manged to lose 194 of the 207 counties that voted for Obama either in 2008 or 2012 and by doing so propelled Trump to the Whitehouse.

Anyone that has read up on Brennan's background knows that he is a political hack kneeling at Obama's feet and any other Democrat that will give him a job. No one is saying that there are no Ruskies trying to get intel all the time, but this one is downright ridiculous. Putin isn't dumb enough to get caught with his finger in the pie, if they did anyway.

Comey is just mad that this is taking away from everybody crediting HIM for influencing the election.

But LOL at anyone who believes that Comey really said that to Trump on a phone call, and Trump has kept that phone call a secret. Just another completely unsourced article from a guy famous for unsourced accusations. But he always has a gullible audience for his fiction.

In case you don't remember Ed K lien's great "FBI sources" and predictions, here's what he claimed about Comey before the Hillary email investigation results came out:

"Author Ed Klein told Fox News host Stuart Varney on Friday that should Clinton not be indicted, FBI Director James Comey and others would resign in protest.

"“I think Comey realizes that he’s got to wrap this (investigation) up well before the conventions, otherwise he’s going to disenfranchise millions and millions of people. So I think this is going to be wrapped up in around six more weeks,” Klein said

However, he also told Arney that Clinton probably has her lawyers working with the Justice Department on a lesser charge where she would simply apologize for being “sloppy” and essentially be “let off.” Klein added that he did not think that scenario would occur.

He also said that while it is up to the Justice Department to indict or not indict Clinton, it would behoove the department to listen to Comey, should he recommend an indictment. Should they not listen to Comey’s suggestions, Klein said there would “be hell to pay.”
