What would happen in this scenario: A TPU (reserve) Neurosurgeon is a 0-5 because he or she came up the ranks after entering as a Captain. The Doctor is a mid-career leader in a valuable specialty. Would that warrant an immediate advancement to 0-6 under the new rules?

I would like to see the up or out system revamped not so sure about the Mark Zuckerberg coming in as an O-6 is the way to go.

Well so that Cyber God who has a crapload of certs can come in as a SGM/CSM? I mean he could be mid level without a degree and rule in Cyber....ohh this is about officers not total force shaping my bad. He’ll be lucky to come in as a PFC
