On January 12, 2016, the day of President Obama’s final State of the Union Address, Iran captured 10 American sailors when their boats wandered into Iranian waters in the Persian Gulf. During the 15 hours the sailors were held, Iran humiliated them, forced an American female sailor to wear a hijab, and released photos of Americans with their hands up surrounded by armed Iranian soldiers.

We certainly got egg rubbed on our face over this screw-up and will never know the inside story or the truth behind what hanky-panky was going on in the first place which led to the boats being picked up. Another example of the gvt's usual practice of feeding mental pablum to the public to cover up, lie, mislead and conceal what's going on. We were caught with our trou down around our ankles and badly tripped up in the process. The Navy dropped the ball on this one and the admin had to stand the gaff by putting a smiley face on what happened rather than own up.

Considering the Animosity between the Republican Guard and the US Navy Hanging out off Bushehr (Irans Norfolk) I'd say that treated these sailors pretty good.

SGT (Join to see) - I thought it was a Riot Listening into their Tactical Voice circuit and their Admiral tasking one of their ships to challenge us and the Capt of that Ship decided that he had just suffered a Catastrophic Engine Failure and couldn't oblige the CINC. We got on rather well with Regular Iranian Navy, Kind of Mutual Respect but the Maritime Revolutionary Guard were Idiots that liked to play chicken with us.
