I couldn't care less. It doesn't diminish my service in any way. People really need to grow a thicker hide over this stolen valor stuff. Yeah maybe if you're in the bar with the guy at the time, but getting mad over this stuff from miles and hours away males no sense.

He is a sad little man! He has my pity. Very well said brother, we all need to grow thicker skin. Laugh and the whole world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone.

I agree on a level. I definitely get irritated if faced with SV in person, I typically just shake my head and say go COSPLAY when watching some of this stuff!
But publishing this story was stupid on the papers part. They deserve backlash.

I agree to an extent. I don't agree that someone should take advantage of someone no matter who it is. They also brag about selling a shirt to the man for $100 that they said was giving to them by GW Bush when in fact the bought it at Macys.

This is an actual case of stolen valor as covered by the Act. He received personal and financial gain with this activity. He wasn't strolling around in cammies telling tall tales for attention, he received services and money. This is where prosecution should take place, not Iphoning you cursing or beating a dude just pretending to be someone or something.
