She is not a whistle blower, but a complainant in a harassment case. What is she blowing the whistle on? Article offers no details of the complaint. She is a LtCdr. Why can't she handle whatever bad things she claims happened to her?

Sounds to me like maybe she needs over sensitivity training...she appears to me to be a person on the hunt for anything and everything that fits the mold she seeks...I dont know the details as the article seems to be lacking that..but she comes across as someone that maybe shouldn't be in the military...Its not cut out for everybody...

There is not a single branch of the military that has done more to integrate women and minorities AT EVERY LEVEL of participation within the United States Coast Guard. Not one of the other four can come close. That said, harassment of any kind is taken very seriously by commands all across the USCG. This commander wields a lot of power in her rank, and this issue should have been, could have been handled much better through channels.
