I Didn't Play a Lot of Sports Growing Up but Tennis? My Mother Put Me in More that a Few Tennis Lessons and Yes I Played a Bit (Hustle a Game or Two with Doctors and Lawyers in Prairie Village, KS as a Teenager). Venus Williams has always had the Most Intimidating Serve I've Ever Seen. You Beat Her, You Got My Respect.

The young lady has a great deal of poise for a 15 year old. She will have a major test against Halep though.

As I had expected, her nice run to the quarterfinals was ended by Simona Halep 6-3, 6-3. I don't think Gauff felt well today, but Halep had a bit too much game for her today. We should see a good bit of these young American in the next 10or so years.
