Corsair F4U-7 that survived with 3 bullet holes from French Service

F4U-7 Corsair that served in Vietnam, Suez and Algerian Crisis with the French. When it was restored years later, it had 3 bullet holes in it. Edmonton Air Show, Edmonton, Alberta Canada 7 AUG 2016.

Thanks for sharing LTC (Join to see). I suspect the three bullet holes were from an anti-aircraft gun burst and not three separate incidents.

thanks for your input. Very likely. Now we just have to think was it in Indochina during the French attempt to defeat the Viet Minh, was it during the Suez Crisis or was it during the Algerian crisis? We will never know.
