Court ruling could extend disability benefits to thousands of injured veterans

We've been trying to get my mother-in-law survivor benefits, I've got zero clue whether the ruling might be able to be extended to survivors and/or dependents in any fashion, of course, however, that being said, you've all gotta gimme an "A" for creativity, at the very least, no?
