I had one eye on the vehicles going through the checkpoint...and the other was watching those 18 wheelers roll...both north and southbound moving America's needs...My point is...when you don't see all that commerce movin.. then it gets serious folks IMO..
My bet is those truckers aren't too concerned where smokey bear is with his radar gun..LET THEM TRUCKERS ROLL 10-4

About 17 18 year's ago when all those hurricanes hit Florida back to back I made a lot of money hauling ice down there and we had a piece of paper we taped in the passenger side windshield that was like a free haul pass, weight, speed, logbook all out the window we got away with a lot when we was rolling but when we got to point B in Florida was expected to act like saints and mind our Ps and Q's. Job paid $3 a mile then $800 a day when we got there to watch our refer units that they filled with fuel, they provide us 3 meals a day, showers and a laundry service.

I can only imagine what FEMA is paying these drivers today.

Jeff lives in Florida, and his car displays Florida license plates. I doubt that it would have been the same reaction if the car had NY plates.
