The day to decide that you're too above the rules is the day you need to put in your retirement packet.

I am a Military Police Officer, and I always prided myself on being the picture of an MP and Soldier. She is an embarrassment. I have gotten myself into my share of trouble for telling more senior people that they are jacked up. Later I learned that was "Personal Courage." I applaud the Soldiers who attempted to correct this Sergeant Major.

As for the command's comment on the Facebook page that said that the comments on social media were inappropriate? Well, your derelict CSM is to blame for that. People tried to correct her and there were plenty of comments from non-anonymous sources that indicated how toxic this individual was. Colonels, choose your battle buddies wisely, for you will be branded by them if they act so colossally stupid as this.

But then again... Perhaps she was emulating her Commander's behavior.

Either way, you need to pull your heads out of your fourth point of contact.

MAJ Carl Ballinger - I get it, you want to make O5, but there isn't an E10 and I'm retired, so I don't need to say it's raining when some General decides to piss down my neck.

She's an embarrassment, the sooner the leadership of the military do just that we'll be able to do the right thing.

I evaluated about 6 pictures and 10 comments, where there is smoke, there's fire.

Are you more upset that I called out a fellow CSM/Drill Sergeant/MP, or was it the Colonel?

I agree, if you walk by a deficiency and fail to correct it, you create a new standard.

MAJ Carl Ballinger - a leader would have corrected his Sergeant Major, and then it would have been over.

MAJ Carl Ballinger - there are multiple pictures, not just one. Multiple.

Yet we just can't seem to figure out why we are losing good Soldiers after just a few years.

This behavior and the apparent modus operandi was or should have been known by the CoC. Good Leaders know their subordinates.

I don't know what's worse, if the leadership didn't know or if they knew and didn't care.

Either way, this is a joke. Anyone with a little experience and a sense of intellectual honesty knew how things were being done out there.

Well, people are afraid to say anything out of fear of EO or discrimination complaints. But, let's face it, there is nothing to be concerned about in this case. The CSM's hairstyle was not consistent with the "Wear and Appearance of the Military Uniform." There is nothing wrong with pointing that out and asking her to correct it. Plain and simple.
