D'Souza is correct both historically and in his interpretations of real data. I grew up among racists. Virulent racists. They're easy for me to spot. Just call someone a racist. Real racists don't care because they believe their racism is warranted, justified by the beliefs they cling to. None racists cringe at the appellation. They bend over backwards to prove they're not. This is why so many racists love to attack non-racists by calling them "racist". Are all Democrats racist? No. Are all Republicans not racist? No. However, only among Democrats has racism been used and is still used as a weapon. Take, for example, racial quotas in hiring and school enrollments. These are canards used by Democrats to "prove" that they are not racists. Republicans have repeatedly fought against these on two non-racial fronts: They are inherently unfair to both majority and minority communities, and they are based on the fundamental belief that minorities are inferior and need special consideration, a racist belief.

I agree, CPT Jack Durish! The democrats called for the forced sterilization of the black population in the early 1900's because they didn't feel that black people were equal. The laws they authored, since, made sure that the black population was unequal. Today, they still tell everyone that the black population is incapable of doing things on their own by passing ethnic equivalency laws like racial quotas and affirmative action. The D party still doesn't believe the black population is at the same level as their lily white asses. And they are still using the eugenicists PPH weapon to lynch more black babies than any other race. But because I believe all people regardless of race are capable of amazing things, I'm a racist because i do not believe in racial quotas and affirmative action which, to me, should be degrading to anyone who is included in their "I feel sorry for you" laws.

Since the democratic party supported slavery before and during the US Civil War CPT (Join to see) this was an interesting discussion.
I think that D'Souza is correct in his line of reasoning. FDR was the man who introduced socialism into this nation and got the white racists and the blacks they loathed into the same party in the 1930s.
