One of the great problems in promoting VFW scholarship programs is that they are all based on "patriotism". Even the Teacher of the Year award is given to those who promote patriotism in their classrooms. Given that teachers are well-indoctrinated in Leftism and are seeking to fundamentally change America, love of country isn't very popular with them. Thus, the pandemic may be a blessing in disguise if it allows me to promote patriotism directly to students. In other words, the Internet may be my way of sneaking past campus gatekeepers. With the backing of my post leadership, I employed a student co-chair to help me put together this website. Let me know what you think...

No. I'm waiting until I can present it with results. If you look at the whole thing, you'll see that we're piloting a program inviting students to compete in a video competition. We'll pass that on to national if it goes well.
