I watch that movie often! Like Tombstone, it was a good one that I can watch over and over!

I never cared for "Dances with the Wolves" and a few others of Costner. I really like the movie with Duvall he starred in wherein Duvall played the boss of a wagon headed west that when it came to a town murdered dome of the crew in the bar. Duvall & Costner's characters came back and burned the town down after shooting all of the bad boys. Costner's character got sweet on a lady in the town where the two protagonists stayed the night.
The movie is "Open Range." I think many other Costner movies were great and he is an able actor. In historical pieces for movies, inaccuracies bother me so much that I will not see them until I know the biases of the film.
I will now have to re-watch my copy of "Open Range" because I fear my memory of it has interwoven with other films as I am prone to do.
