Never got to fire the Danish Madsen rifle, PFC (Join to see). However, I did fire and familiarize with the Danish Madsen model 1950 (m/50) submachine gun at SF weapons school at Fort Bragg in 1970. It was made of stamped metal and it was a hunk of junk!

The Madsen sub machine was(is) a fantastic little gun. Simple and reliable, very popular back in the cold war days.

Sounds like an outdated weapon that shoots decent but may not stand up to abuse in the field. Thanks for sharing PFC Justin Iwamasa
