David Attenborough thinks the oceans are under the greatest threat in human history

Actually, based on my recent experiences diving around the world, I believe that the coastal diving environment has actually improved over the past 20 years in most places. We are dumping much less waste in the coastal area and therefore producing less algae and pollutants. The area looks healthier, less stressed and less littered by permanent debris. Away from the continental coastal area is undetermined by my observation. Some areas are thriving and others stressed and there does not, to me, seem to be a discernable pattern.
