David Ortiz reunites with Maverick Schutte

We all hope he doesn't retire after this season but who knows? Or at least stays with the Red Sox in some capacity.

It would be a step in an even better direction to have him and Pedro commenting and advising on both side of the plate.

Sgt Christopher Pool - I think it would be good for baseball to have David Ortiz be a special assistant to the Owner of the Red Sox & have him work with kids in the Boston Community by giving them gloves, bats and balls and spend time with them. He has said he loves kids and they certainly feel the same about him. But I think he wants to go back to the Dominican and work with poor kids in his home country.
