It's old news.
However, I need to point this out regarding these two gentlemen.
General Petraeus is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. He is classified as a convicted felon according to the BATFE. He was convicted of a crime in which he could serve more than 1 year in prison (2 years probation, $100k+ fine).
Capt Kelly attempted to commit a "Straw Purchase" (a felony involving a firearm) in 2013 in an effort to promote his gun control agenda. The Gun Store owner prevented this action.

This is old news, and I agree that we need to enforce the laws on the books. There is enough red-tape and government interference.

I do not think that this new gun control advocacy group knows which end is up. After reading this article from the Stars & Stripes, it appears that the group has conflicting goals according to this report.
