The easy response is "what about the victims families " and while this is a valid concern I am generally the person to say justice and legal proceedings aren't determined by the emotional impact of the event. On this note, it is illogical to place an arbitrary age on a murderer thay allows them to commit premeditated murder and receive a lesser sentence.
