Well you could put them in Artillery and not have to worry about them going deaf, they are already there. You might be on to something there may be some fields in the Military that they may be well suited for. Probably not doing what I was, Hearing as a Spook is kind of important.

My sister went to Texas School For The Deaf in Austin, Texas. They had a football team. There was an exhibition game between them and U of T, and the deaf athletes beat them something like 50 to zip. The deaf used sign language in all of their plays, and Texas never could get a jump on them because they didn't do sign language. My dad said it was the quietest football game he ever went to.

It was. It was strange when the deaf players were on offense or defense. It was so quiet.

I tried finding something about the game, but it was an exhibition game so maybe there's nothing about it. They still have a kick butt football team.
