There have been several posts on here about songs. I wanted to share this one. This is "Death Rides a Black Horse" from Jon Oliva's Pain. Jon Oliva was the lead singer of a band called Savatage, from which another small band (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) was born. Jon is one of the main composers of all TSO music, and has released several solo records and guested on countless others. He is truly one of the greatest musical minds ever, even though you've probably heard his name. What is significant about this song is that it was written about one of his nephews who served in Iraq with the 11th Armored CAV, call sign Blackhorse. Having flown a Blackhawk in Afghanistan, I would have listened to this song before missions, had it been out before I retired. Enjoy.
