A law enforcement friend pointed something out to me when I was ranting about this and liberals. She said this is not a gun issue or a law issue other nations that have guns don't have kids killing each other this is a media, physiological and US issue...

The danger of this being a psychological issue is that a single person has the authority to determine the fate of you and I by simply writing a letter. They don't have a set of guidelines or a standard to go by which tells them that a person is or isn't dangerous enough to have their gun rights withheld or to be put in jail.
