Makes sense. Be able to do you job, a part of which is to be able to be deployed, or get out. The forces are small as it is. They need everyone to be capable of going where needed, WHEN needed.

I never did like the tape test either. My company provides wellness tests each year. The way body fat is measured is through a body fat loss monitor where you grab hold of two handles and it measures body fat percentage, through resistance I guess. I’m still obese by the reading, but at least I have more confidence on the readout!

Makes sense. I must maintain deployable status even as a Reserve. Even though due to budget limitations, they have cancelled all sorts of deployments. If the Reserves must be deployable, it makes sense that the active side must be deployable also.
