Deploying Marines to get tougher flame-resistant uniforms

Thanks for sharing the news that a more durable flame-resistant uniform will be available for Marines deploying to combat zones beginning in July 2017 SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
Hopefully Marines who currently deployed through June of 2017 will not be exposed to significant flame hazards in training, on board ship or in a combat zone.

this is well and good but what about something a little more Bomb and Blast resistant as that is what the cowardly bastards are using to Kill a majority of the troops with...

At least the Marine Corps got it right with their uniforms unlike the army that approved the ACU in July, 2003 after approved by a procurement process that is as broke as the F-35. The Marine Corps have been spot-on with their two uniforms. I wish the Army would have then as wise.
