If you actually look at his past, Joe was not really a nice guy, they just came up with that during his run for the president to counter Trumps Mr. mean guy personality. Joe was sort of an A hole.

I was just going to say this, Biden is as mean as (or even meaner than) Trump. Trump wasn't really mean, his tweets could be abrasive but he would not hesitate to help others. Biden actually yelled at people; calling them names ("dog-faced pony soldier"), telling them their memory is bad, etc. He also implied that every Trump supporter is a racist (although that myth is still believed by many on the left). It may be because I'm too young (I wasn't around for most of his years in the Senate), but I don't think he's ever been a nice guy.
