Story of Pvt Desmond Doss, Medic on Okinawa, who saved 75 men single handedly after his position had been overrun.

This story has been made into the movie "Hacksaw Ridge", and is well worth seeing, IMHO.

Capt Seid Waddell Awesome Hero. I'm waiting for the movie to come to Netflix. Might be waiting awhile. Thanks for the sharing this great Heroes story!

Capt Seid Waddell - we have two really good theaters, not far from me, one you need a Swiss bank account for, the other dirt cheap prices, neither one has offered the movie yet.

I have not seen it yet. I do know that the SDA community wishes the movie would have said more about his faith. That is the whole foundation of who Desmond Doss was. Me personally, I'm just glad it was made. I believe it made many people research themselves and that is better than any movie can provide.
