I commented on this in another post. I knew John; he's a classmate, and though it has been literally two decades since we've spoken any measurable amount... I'm going to wait and see what this is all about before passing judgement. My take is that being a CO in any Navy command right now is "risky" to say the least. I'd be lying if I didn't admit I'm a bit cynical and jaded on the whole "epidemic" of "firings"... and prone to side with the accused until proven "guilty". I've never been "glad" to be out of the service until recently.

SGT Steve McFarland - I didn't get to retire; I got to begin a "second career"... and then a "third"; of which I'm still in the process of maintaining-hopefully for the next eighteen years or so LOL! But thank you all the same.
