Sailed aboard Eagle and Taney, both built in 1936. Neither had a lot of electronic bells and whistles, but they did their job well.

Glad to see the replacements getting built and commissioned . All the old steel I sailed on except for a few 378s are long gone ,255 , 95 , lightships and the Hambone.

We are refreshing the fleet as we speak. New WHECs, ten in this first round, and WMECs, sixteen or twenty in this first round. An order has now been signed for six new ice breakers, as well.
