Thank you my friend SGT (Join to see) for sharing the music video of Dire Straits performing "Skateaway" and letting us know that you purchased Dire Straits greatest hits album a few years back, Sultans of Swing.
I have several Dire Straits albums; Dire Straits 1978; Making Movies 1980; Communique 1984; Brothers I Arms 1985 and On Every Street 1990.
Skateaway is included on Making Movies.

Nnamdi Azikiwe was the first President of Nigeria. "His daughter, Jayzik Azikiwe (1958-2008), gained "silent notoriety" as the anonymous but central and subject "Roller Girl" in Dire Straits' memorable 1980 music video, Skateaway and was well known in the Gambia for singing the tourist song "Every One Loves the Gambia" where she lived before passing away just before her 50th birthday.
